F.A.Q.s

Q.   What is the usual wait time for a tow truck?
A.   15 to 40 minutes, anywhere on the north side. Remote areas and rush hour may take longer. Call for an accurate ETA.

Q.   Can you bill my motor club or insurance company for a tow?
A.   We do not bill motor clubs or insurance companies for towing, although we will bill your insurance company for any accident tow that is stored at our lot. We will issue a receipt for regular tows which you can submit to your motor club or insurance company for reimbursement.

Q.   Is it better to have my car towed on a flatbed?
A.   Not necessarily. Sometimes vehicles get damaged from overtightening the chains on a flatbed. Wheel lift towing is safe as long as it is done properly. A good operator can tow your vehicle safely no matter which type of tow truck it is on.

Q.   I've just had an accident and my car is not driveable, what do I do now?
A.   First, call a tow truck so your car does not get impounded. It's recommended that you don't accept tows from trucks that "just happened" by the scene. Often times, insurance companies will not pay exorbitant fees charged by accident chasers, leaving you to pay upwards of $500 for a simple tow and a couple days of storage. Next, is to call your insurance company and ask them where the towing company should tow your car. If storage is required, we offer short term or long term storage.

Q.   Do you tow illegally parked cars?
A.   No, we don't do any non-consent towing.

Q.   What forms of payment do you accept?
A.   We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and business checks.
